Teaching experience
I have been teaching chess since 1998 and online since 2004. I take great pride in helping young players build a strong foundation and reach new levels of skill.
Among my students were GM Anna Ushenina, who later became the 2012 Women's World Champion, and Liran Zhou, who went on to become the youngest-ever US National Master at just 9 years, 3 months, and 22 days. Both achieved their greatest successes on their own, but I had the privilege of giving them an early boost in their chess journeys.

Teaching methodology
Do you feel stuck at the same level, unsure how to improve, and frustrated that chess engines don’t seem to help? One student put it perfectly: "I have many chess books and software, but I keep jumping around and never stay on track."
I firmly believe that analyzing your own games is the key to real improvement. Our study plan will be built around identifying your weaknesses from recent games and targeting them directly.
After each lesson, I provide personalized tasks designed to help you overcome those weaknesses and take your chess to the next level.
