About me
I am FM Joshua Johnson from Trinidad and Tobago. I am a full time chess player and coach, currently doing what it takes to achive the IM title.
Playing experience
Been playing tournament chess since 2007, won several regional youth medals. National Champion of my country 2023. Played in 4 World Chess Olympiads and 2 Online Olympiads. Silver medal in the first Central American and Caribbean Games in 2023.
Teaching experience
Certified Fide Instructor (FI). Over 10 years experience teaching students of all ages and levels. As of now have students up to 1900 fide level and going higher.
Other experiences
I launched an academy that specialises in chess coaching but main objective is to improve mental strength and mindset. 'Mind Warriors Academy'
Best skills
I try to understand the student as best as I could and am willing to adapt if something isn't working out.

You can ask me questions at any time. I listen to what you think you need and would operate to suit. I would also guide based on what has and hasn't worked for me in my chess career.
